Achel Dubbel has some surprisingly fruity aromas, of pear, banana, raisin and plum. Its taste offers touches of caramel, biscuit and fruit. The malty palate is freshened up by a beautiful carbonation and hints of spice. Despite the decidedly sweet character of this full bodied beer, it finishes with a bright and well-rounded bitterness.

This is a beer with a mildly sweet and malty palate, somewhat reminiscent of bread. It is complemented by the fruity touches of young pear and banana. The fruitiness leaves a lasting impression that is balanced by a crisp bitterness. Its light body makes Achel Tripel a thirst quenching beer with a gentle hoppy finish.
