Rochefort

Rochefort is a Belgium Trappist brewery that formed in 1595. The brewery is not open to the public and the monks are very secretive about the brewing process. Like many Belgian beers, those produced at Rochefort age well and can be cellared for years whilst maintaining quality. Three amazing trappist beers are produced at Rochefort:

Rochefort 6 (7.5%) is reddish in colour with a slightly spicy aroma and intense taste of caramel, fruit and hint of raisins.

Rochefort 8 (9.2%) has a more pronounced aroma, more fruits and a slight amount of Demi-Sec.

Rochefort 10 (11.3%) has a very compact head and aroma of figs, and it feels like honey in the mouth.
